It all began with the production of button cards for the glass industry in Gablonz. Today, hertel develops and produces individual packaging solutions - customer-oriented and efficiently.
The medium-sized packaging enterprise based in the city of Bayreuth, famous for its connection with Wagner, is now being managed by the third generation and has roughly 50 employees.

September 2011: Anniversary celebrations - Hertel & Co. GmbH looks back on 60 years of production.
January 2011: Move to our new production site in Oschenberg industrial estate.
Our new building boasts 3 500 m2 production space, 2 000 m2 warehousing space and another 500 m2 of office space. Our production site sets new benchmarks in energy and workflow optimization. The utilization of fossil energy resources has been dispensed with completely. Heat recovery supports the heating and cooling systems. A photovoltaic system rounds off the energy concept.
